You can buy physical Calgary Transit tickets at:
• CTrain station vending machines
• 350 retail locations including:
– 7-Eleven
– Shoppers Drug Mart
– Co-op
– Safeway grocery stores
The best online option is to prepay for your transit via the Calgary Transit My Fare App .
Pay for your ticket online and use it when you want.
This is especially good when you want to buy and use a day pass to get around.
Once you buy your ticket, your phone doesn't even have to be online.
Tickets are also sold in single or 10-packs, valid for 90 minutes in any direction.
When paying in cash, ($4.00) on the bus don't forget to ask for a TRANSFER so you can get onto your next bus/train.
HINT: IF YOU ARE TRAVELLING DOWNTOWN, THE LRT (Light Rail Train - or C-TRAIN) IS FREE ALL ALONG THE DOWNTOWN CORE (7th AVE)
