My English is not very strong. Will this be a problem?<\/span><\/path><\/svg><\/span><\/path><\/svg><\/span><\/div>

While the course will primarily be given in English, emotional and body expression will be given a great deal of the focus.<\/span><\/p>

Partner work and some group work will be conducted in your own language as well. <\/span><\/p>

Teaching style can accommodate much of language concerns. Some translation support is likely available from fellow participants in several languages. In addition, Steve, speaks reasonable versions of French, Spanish and German. <\/span><\/p>

This being said, a minimum understanding of English is needed. Please contact us directly before registering if you have more questions concerning language.<\/span><\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>

Will there be time for social\/leisure activities during the course?<\/span><\/path><\/svg><\/span><\/path><\/svg><\/span><\/div>

DEFINITELY!<\/p>

There will be downtime each day and possibly a half day off with an organized trip or event, or a walk at the riverside.<\/p>

The facility has a gathering and games room as well as an events happening in Downtown Red Deer.<\/p>

We encourage all participants to monitor their energy levels and work and rest at a comfortable pace.<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>

Can I come late or leave early to the workshops?<\/span><\/path><\/svg><\/span><\/path><\/svg><\/span><\/div>

The accommodations are booked for for you from August 9 – 19, 2026. We’d be happy to put you in touch with the facility representative if you would like to extend your stay. If you wish to stay somewhere else in the area outside of that period and need help finding lodging, please contact the organizers.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div>

What to Bring<\/strong><\/p>

The average temperature in Red Deer in August ranges from a high of 24\u00b0C (75\u00b0F ) to a low of 11\u00b0C (51\u00b0F) Some would describe the temperature to be mildly cool. Some would say\u2026 perfect. The general area may also feel breezy.<\/span> Bring comfortable shoes if you would like to enjoy a hike or more physical experience.<\/p>

Comfortable rehearsal clothes of course will make your in-class experience much nicer.<\/p>
